Well July 23rd 2008 will go down in the history books, at least mine. FunseXXXtoys was invited to participate in an event called Get Your Queer On. This event was organized in conjunction (a pre-event) of Divers/Cite, Montreal's Pride Week Festival and took place at Cabaret Mado in the Gay Village. This was my first pubic event. I was so excited and nervous. I was also asked to have something prepared should I be asked to speak on stage. I was very lucky to have a great space reserved for me to set up, an entire private bar area. And I was even more lucky to have my great friend Angel (all photos taken by Angel) to help. It was a really fun evening where I finally had a chance to talk to people, explain toys, laugh a lot, try to make the shy ones approach and relax. Really my jaw hurt from smiling and laughing so much at the end of the night. I am really looking forward to attending more such events and book home parties as well. |
